Pop Goes Crochet

I just got this book, and there are a wide variety of patterns in it. Some are awesome, like the one mentioned in this thread: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27191&highlight=corset

 

But some aren't so hot.... like the strange sweater on page 15, for example.

 

But overall, the book is really pretty good. I wanted it specifically for the corset, but I'm pleased with the rest of it. It has some new bold looks for crochet.

 

Does anybody else have this book? What do you think of it?

Is anybody aware of any corrections?

I just got this book. I got it for the Cher vest, but I've seen some other cool things too. And you're right, not everything is quite so hot.
