Taught a knitter to crochet!

We have a very adverse group of knitters and crocheters in our Friday Morning group. Some people only knit, some people only crochet, and some do both.

 

We've all been trying new things lately. I've actually mastered how to use circular needles. I now do both knitting and crochet, but I am primarily a crocheter.

 

One of our knitters had a pattern for a baby hat that was knitted and needed a crochet edge. So I showed her how to single crochet and chain and she was able to accomplish this task and complete her hat. It turned out really cute.

 

It's nice to be able to help someone out. I would have done it for her, but she wanted to learn how. I'm glad she asked me to teach her.

She sent me a thank you card today. She said that I was a good teacher and that I had a lot of patience. It made me feel good inside.

 

Sometimes, it's just the little things that can make you happy.
