Has anyone made a jump rope from crochet

Ok I had a crazy thought has anybody tried to make a jump rope from crochet just curious because for some odd reason I thought of doing that yes I admit I can be a bit odd

i made one many years ago for my daughter

who is now forty-one years old.

she was six or seven at the time.

i cut two pieces of a small branch and put

eye bolts in one end.

 

at the time [mid seventys] i was making a lot

of beaded crocheted necklaces. i used about

five strands [i think] of number ten thread mainly

because i had quite a bit of it at the time and

made it like a long necklace.

Photojenic has a whip in her adventure set I think would make a great jump rope if you put two handles on it! (((((HUGS))))) sandi

I hadn't thought of it, but I think it would be easy to do...
