Tour de France + Ravelry?

My dh likes to ride a bicycle, and he is a moderate fan of bicycle racing. (Okay, maybe a little more than "moderate.")

 

Anyway, the Tour de France started July 4th, and it's a given that Eurosport will be playing in our living room during the next three weeks. During today's stage, the British commentators were taking online questions, making comments, etc, and suddenly they mentioned Ravelry!!! Apparently some knitters on Ravelry have a KAL going on in conjunction with the tour.

 

I got a kick out of hearing *Ravelry* mentioned on Eurosport, and had to explain to my dh what it was!

There is a Tour de France KAL as well as a Tour de Fleece, a spin-along during the Tour de France on ravelry.
