Dishrag Question

OK so I've been working the chain for hours a day for a few days. I want to try working on the dishrag. So I leave about 6 inches of yarn before the first stitch. My question is once I get it done how do I close/finish/tie off the two ends?? Not sure what the term is.

When you end a project, leave another 6 inches or so before you cut the yarn. Then, with a yarn needle or smaller hook, weave the loose ends in first one direction then another. That will help keep the ends from popping out and your work unraveling.
