making bows

Recommended Posts

I have never been good at making pretty ribbon bows. My sister has asked me to make her "toss" flower bouquet for her wedding. She picked out the flowers and told me how her "real" bouquet will look. She will be using real flowers for the wedding, but she wants special pics taken in her wedding dress early. She wants to use her "toss" bouquet in the pictures. I have the perfect ribbon to go with it but I can't do a pretty bow. I have trouble with even a simple bow. Anyone know of a good place to look online that would show how to do this in a simple easy to understand way. I know I can make something sis will love, I just need a little help getting there. I want to make sure I do the best I can for sis. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

My SIL works for a florist here in town and they tie bows for people all the time. If you have the ribbon, they usually don't charge you to tie them. Just a suggestion...I can't tie a bow to save my life either! LOL!!
