I had a really good crochet tutorial site with video clips, and now I can't find it! Anyone know where it is?

I am working on the granite stitch. and I'm not sure if the DC goes in the first hole of the stitch, or the last one. (I think the last one, but I"m not sure)

When one is 8o looking for a specific pattern in a search engine, www.yahoo.com or www.google.com, just type it in the box in the search engine. Perhaps "granite stitch crochet" or "free crochet patterns." The handy dandy search engine will create a list of many (possibly hundreds) of places to look for the patterns. Some will be right out in plain sight, others are a treasure hunt. :hat When a pattern is found it can saved it to one's bookmarks, printed out, or saved to one's computer or even saved to disk or CD. :yay2

grrr, I can't get to the links yet. Characterlink needs to review them. Has anyone done the granite stitch before? I just need to know which hole to put the Dc in.

Oh nuts! I guess it's not the granite stitch I want! it's the Aligned Granite stitch. Oh bother. I"m trying to get my sister started on a project. I"ll go look for it now. If any one has done it before let me know!

Aligned Granite (GR): YO, insert hook in stitch, YO and draw through. YO and draw through 2 loops. YO , insert hook in next stitch, YO and draw through. YO and draw through 2 loops. YO and draw through remaining 3 loops. DC in same stitch as last stitch.

That's the pattern I am working on. The only thing I can find with that stitch. So, I finally came to my senses and emailed the gal who made it! I've got it all figured out now and the first cuff is almost done. (My sister is making it) Thanks all!
