Making scrubbies

A friend gave me a pattern for a scrubbie that you put a bar of soap in and you can use it to get off dry skin in the shower.

 

After a few attempts to cut the tulle in strips, I tried using a rotary cutter and it worked great. You just roll up the tulle into a round roll and just cut the roll off with the rotary cutter. It worked really well.

 

I'm on my second scrubbie already.

Do you crochet the tulle? I'm not following...

Once you make it into strips, then you tie them together and use the strips as yarn to make the scrubbies. You use a large hook (size k) to crochet the strips into a scrubbie. I hope that answers your question.
