help on Kingfield Sq from CPC.com

I'm ALMOST done with my first square for swap!! YAY!! But I can't figure out the last round!!! After the first corner sp, it states to "sc in each sc across to next corner", BUT the previous round (5) was done in dc! So.............just sc in each dc? That's what the picture looks like I guess.

I'm shooting for 1 square a day and this one is holding me up now!! not fair!

 

kind of a silly question I guess, but (1) I want to make sure I'm doing it right and (2) maybe I can help someone else doing the same pattern!

You're right! Just sc into the dc's of the previous round.

update........The pattern worked, but it only turned out being 5 inches instead of 6 for me! Apparently, I crochet WAY TOO TIGHT! I knew I was tight, but WOW!! AN ENTIRE INCH?!? DANG!

I'm trying a bigger hook and we'll see how it goes....
