Another small tip

Hope this is not a re-run of a tip already posted.

I have a (bad :blush) habit when working on hand projects,

especially the more complicated - for me! :lol - parts

to forget to look up and focus on something more

distant every once in a while, and this results in some

fairly stiff, sore neck and shoulders muscles. So I thought

why not borrow a tip from sewing:

just fill an odd tube sock with a pound or two of dry rice

- not the instant sort- :eek

then make a good knot in the open end, just to keep all that

rice corraled! :D warm the rice filled sock, usually

only a minute or so on the "High" setting for most

microwaves will do the trick, lay the warmed bag

across shoulders. Ahhh relief! :) and with no smelly,

or expensive ointment. :D

Hi Sandy,

That's kinda like what we do. We fold a hand towel in half (length wise) and sew along the edges and in way that makes 4 pockets (of course you fill each pocket before you sew it completely shut). You usually pop them in the micro-wave for 3-4 minutes. It's so nice on a really cold day or when I'm really sore.

Thanks for sharing that really quick and simple idea!! I like how it doesn't take a whole lot of time to make.
