I just made a scrubbie out Needleloft (plastic canvas yarn) I used no pattern just made a circle and went until it was the size I wanted. It seems to work really well. The thing I like best is it does not seem to smell like cotton tends to do.

I've looked at plastic canvas yarn and thought of cleaning dishes with it, too.

I've never tried it, though.

 

Was it easy to work with?

Yes It was really easy to work with. I went this route instead of tulle so I didn't have to cut stripe.
