Has anyone made the Tower Express top in the latest Crochet Fantasy...I just picked up the issue....I started making it but am having some trouble with the top yoke...mine is too ruffled...it needs to be flatter...I think it may have something to do with misinterpreting the directions. I can't post them here but the instructions say to join into a round by slip stiching into the 4th chain of begining 5 chain....but for the next 12 rows it simple states to join...I have been joining in the 4th chain at the begining of every row....is this right?
I really wish that the directions were clearer...after the yoke is done you need to mark front & back and armholes somewhere around 14 v-stiches....then begin in the 14th v-stich...it is not clear if you are crocheting across or down...I would appreciate a heads up if someone has made this.
I can foresee a very frustrating experience but I just can't stop myself...must be a massocist.
