Can you felt cotton? Has anyone tried this? I for one have not felted anything yet. Wondering if it can be done, or if it has to be wool only..

Felting can be done with animal fiber only, wool, alpaca, mohair, etc.

 

Cotton is a plant based fiber, it will not felt. It will just stretch all out of shape when you wash it. lol
