Clothesline Crochet??

Has anyone done any clothesline crochet? I just found a site telling a little bit how to do it, and I must say it's pretty neat. I've thought about making rugs, and things, but just felt they would not be very sturdy, and would simply slide over the floor. But using clothesline crochet would definitely make them more sturdy, and it's pretty neat?

 

Anyone done this, what have you made? Any pictures or links to patterns??

Yeah that's where I found it...I had never ever heard of it before, though! So was really just wanting to know what others have made, I guess...pictures or links to other patterns.

think its really interesting too. thinking you could hotpads with it make them sturdy.
