[Knit Happens]

The reason I'm learning different techniques is because I've been teaching a lot lately...crochet tho. It seems that someone tells someone else and voila, I have a new student. No complaints here. However, in the Spring, I'm going to be teaching a 4 week knitting class. It is for a local non-profit so I'm doing some good while I'm getting the classroom experience. I've planned each class and I have to admit, I'm pretty darned excited about it. Looking ahead, I figure it is a good idea to learn as much as I can. There is nothing worse than asking your teacher something that they don't know the answer to. Also, if all goes well, I may be asked back for a more advanced program, perhaps cables and dpns...but I want to be prepared.

Well that's great. Glad to run into another teacher. I teach intermediate and advanced knitting techniques at a local craft store here. I just finished teaching a three week sock class. Next up will be lace. Let me know if you have any questions.
