Poem on how an afghan is like a hug

I remember a child was given an afghan as a gift when she was very ill. There was a "poem" attached that described how an afghan is like a hug. I think it related that although close friends could not be with her during treatments, the afghan would be like they are all giving her a hug when she wrapped herself with it as they all contributed to the afghan. Does anyone know a poem like this?
