Label recycled yarn

If you recycle a lot of sweaters for yarn, it's easy to forget what your wonderful cheap yarn is made of. I always save the content label from the sweater and tie a short length of the salvaged yarn to it. I wish I'd started doing that when I was frogging my first sweaters. You'll be glad you did, the very first time you look at one of those balls and can't remember what's in it.

I have never used recycled yarn, but have certainly been thinking about it. I am glad you posted this. Now I can do it right, lol.
