Knitted Striped Pencil Pouch

I knitted this for a KAL in a yahoo group I belong to (Crafting for a Cause).

 

 

It is from the Lion Brand website, made by kids for kids... It was really easy to do. The only thing was weaving in all the ends. (The pattern said to resist the temptation to just work over the ends, and weave them in later..... It is true. I only worked over the yarn for ONE stitch, and that side was warped compared to the other side which was straight...) Anyway, I worked in all the ends while watching tv so it wasn't too bad.
