purse handel

Question

Well I made 2 granny squares and I plan on sewing them together to make a purse ... but I ran out of yarn .... so what should I do for a handel? should I just buy a wooden one (I have no clue how these work) or should i just suck it up and buy another stupid scain of yarn even tho i will barely use ne of it ?

If you go to a fabric store, you can find all sorts of things that make good purse straps. Look where the ribbons are, and you can find woven cords in basic colors (like brown, blue, black) or woven straps in funkier colors (like yellow, red, orange). You might also find a cute little chain or something like that to make a strap out of. I've also made purse straps out of old belts and strips cut out of old blue jeans!
