Dazed and Confused

I am trying to figure out what my next project will be. I recently finished a stuffed lion but now I don't know what to crochet. I really want to design my own pattern, but I think that may just be too much for my beginner self. I really have only done some plushies and amigurumi and I think I need to work on something a little different. Any suggestions or ideas?

It looks pretty simple and basic to me. Not too many instructions. I think you should GO FOR IT!! The worst that can happen, is you deciede it's not for you and frog it!
