baby afghan or shawl

Hi. Thanks to all the ville people who offered their opinions on what I should make my great neice or nephew.

Not sure what I am going with. I have a great pattern suggested by rose red. I also have a great terry kimborough pattern picked out too.

It is my neice's wedding and her baby to be will probably be the ring bearer or the flower girl.

I was asked to make a shawl or blanket for the baby to use in the wedding.

Hope this has cleared up everone's questions!!!!

The baby will be pretty close to a new-born and I just can't picture a shawl staying on someone so little.

 

I would do a round ghan with a pretty edging. This way the baby can continue to use the blankie.
