I am trying to make the Vintage Verve shawl from the Family Circle Easy Crochet book. It's the first pineapple pattern I've ever tried and the top part of the pineapple with all the chain loops is turning out larger than the rest of the pattern. I'm not sure whether to try it with fewer chains, or whether blocking the shawl will stretch the rest out so it all lies flat.
Any suggestions would be welcome
