ideas for Paton's Brilliant- shell, tank, halter?

Does anyone have any ideas for a summer top- shell, tank or halter- that would work in Brilliant? I want it for something fairly simple to go under a poncho I've made using the same yarn (Trapezoid poncho-thanks for sharing the pattern) The yarn is flashy enough so I need something simple...for a size 14- most of the crochet shells/tanks I've found are for very small sizes.

My daughter asked me for a little wraparound skirt for the beach in Brilliant.

(gold) She has a black bathing suit and figures it should look good with a tan:)

 

If you want to keep it simple you could make a simple tube top.
