A few questions

Do any of you use sewing thread for doilys? If so what brand? Pros and cons with sewing thread would be nice also. Do you buy online?

I do, I have used three stands of sewing thread and made doilies, I just used reg sewing thread, I have also used like one stand of sewing thread with size 10, 20, and 30 crochet thread. I have used all sorts of sewing thread, reg and silken and serger thread, I think any will work, I have used size 40 and just reg..... Good luck and have fun...it is surprising how much color one little strand of sewing thread can give when added to other crochet thread...
