Question
Kim M.
I have just started making the rainbow ripple afghan from the book Ripple afghans to crochet. My problem is that it asks me to chain 219 (which I have double checked 4 times to make sure I am not off on the chain). I am supposed to end up with 200 dc and 16 ch-1 spcs. I am ending up with 212 dc and 18 ch-1 spcs. I have went over every stich to see where I made a mistake. I even had my co-worker (who has crocheted for 25 years) look at it and she cannot find the mistake either! Could it be they printed something wrong in the book? Has anyone made this afghan? It was also shown in the Herrschners catalog several months ago. I have only completed the first row and will probably just rip it out and start over, but it is really driving me crazy that I cannot find my mistake.
Help!
Kim
