all white dc dress seen in church

Recommended Posts

I sat behind a teenage girl in church on Easter Sunday who was wearing an all-crocheted white dress. The majority of it was dc, with filet squares about every 20 stitches or so. At the waist were 3 rows of shells (or fans), with a white ribbon woven in and out of the middle row to tie it (she had it tied into a bow on the stomach). The sleeves were little caps, with what almost looked like the beginning of pineapples swooping around to make a curvy outer edge. Thinner ribbon was woven through part of it too, but I couldn't get close enough to see all the details. She had long, lovely brown hair so I couldn't see how the sleeves were joined to the body of the dress or the neckline.

If you were wearing, or made, an all white crocheted dress at Sts. Peter and Paul at the 9 a.m. mass on Easter Sunday in Tucson, AZ, your dress was gorgeous! And where did you get the pattern?
