Comment on six year old Spring Swing dress

Okay, I make baby stuff and toys. If its for adults its slippers or a shawl, not too much shaping there. And kids are generally not bigger than a 24 month.

 

I am looking at this HUGE skirt (I got bored with the bodice-8 inches before armhole shaping takes forever lol) and thinking it would fit me! Of course it wouldn't but I am just not used to this scale.

 

Has anyone else ever stepped out of their crochet comfort zone and felt like they were suddenly in Oz? Another problem I am having is sticking to my own pattern!!!!! Good thing all the skirts are identical because the dress I am making now doesn't even follow my own skirt design. ROFL
