covered plastic coat hanger

Hi,

Can anyone please help me. A friend has brought me a covered coat hanger. It seems to be worked in single crochet with white on one side and pink worked into the other side. I can't tell if it is a slip stitch around the hanger or a single crochet. I've tried to copy the hanger but am having a hard time. I've made very fancy doilies. But I am lost without directions. I am also left handed.

I just saw some on the Lionbrand website.

Candy Cane Coat Hanger -

Plush Hanger Cover this one looks very nice and would make a great gift.

 

Crochet Pattern Central, I did a search for "hanger cover" and it came up with a few patterns.

 

I've done them in just single crochet around the hanger. I did find I had to glue the very top end so it wouldn't slip off.
