Pattern for Leg Warmers

My dear Mother of 60ish told me today she would like a pair of leg warmers of all things!!! She's always cold and my Dad keeps the house at like 63 in the winter! We were laughing because I told her I couldn't believe I saw those socks from long ago that have individual toes in the store! Then we were talking and she said how great the leg warmers were from years ago. Remember when they were in style?? LOL. Anyway I thought I would try to whip up a pair. Anybody see a pattern lately?? I'm hoping a could use a 16 inch circular to make them, dpns and I don't get along!

The Sally Melville book "The Knit Stitch" has a good pattern, too. I found that book at my local library. She uses worsted weight yarn and 14-16" circular needles in her pattern. They look really cozy! Good luck with your project.
