I want to make a hat but it calls for ww and I want to do it in fun fur, is one strand fine or should I hold two stands together to equal the same weight? Thanks in advance for your help Mallory.

thanks two is probaly the best bet. Is crocheting a scarf (like the knitted ones) with fun fur hard?

I don't know, WW is considered a "4", while fun fur is considered a bulky weight or a "5" even if it is skinny.

All the patterns on Lion Brand's website uses Fun Fur with worsted weight. I use them together all the time.

Yes, fun fur by itself is hard to crochet with. You have to crochet by feel. If you use worsted weight and fun fur, you can see the stitches easier.
