Question
Knit Happens
I am thinking about the holidays in advance and have snow(men)people in mind. You can paint fabrics with Delta acrylics and it is permanent....so I thought I would single crochet (or stockinette knit) a lapghan as a "canvas" and use the paints to paint a winter snowpeople scene....has anyone ever done such a thing? I guess I will make a small experimental piece to see how it works out and how it washes...I'm assuming it will soak into the yarn and leave the picture intact. Perhaps some cotton yarn would be a good canvas. Any input from anyone with painting yarn and having the color stay?
