Spiderman Round Ripple/ Asap

has anyone evermade the Spiderman Round ripple using

Simply Soft. If so what colors and how many ros of each?

Or is it beter to use the Red Heart?

 

Like to make it for my Grandson for his Birthday

SS is thinner than RH. Any red, navy and black will work. I use hooks sized between E and I for SS. If it's for a kid I would suggest nothing bigger than a G 1/2 since once you get into the I range it has a tendancy to pull.

 

The last few rounds are tedious and take FOREVER! If you're in a time crunch, I would go with the RH.

If I use SS would you change the # of rounds etc

That depends on your own personal gauge and how big you want the ghan to be. Or you could just add 1 or 2 extra rows to each round to keep it about even.

 

It's a round ripple - it's a pretty forgiving pattern. I think that as long as you keep the amount of rows the same thru out all the color changes that it should come out great!
