what kind of a guide are you looking for? a basic body pattern to work from? tips on how to start with a magic circle and work in rounds? there is a thread going about amigurumi and the people who post there are great. They have all kinds of free patterns and show the things they have made. that would be the place to start with questions. Let me see if i can find and post you the link,
