crochet into same place...

Hello! I am working on block Alhambra (200 crochet blocks) and need help.

 

Instructions for round 3:

sl st into 3rd chain of next ch 7 sp, ch3 (counts as 1 dc), 1 dc into same place((i assumed that was the same place i did the ch3 in)), *ch3, 2dc into same sp ((is this the same space as the space i did the dc into or the space i did the ch3 into?)), ch3, dc2tog inseting hook into same sp (which space) for first leg and into next ch7 space for second leg, ((i do understand how to do dc2tog)), ch3, 2 dc into same sp (again, which one?lol)

 

help help...i owe you all! thanks!

What I"m getting from your question is it is the same crochet stitch that you WENT INTO to pull out for the ch3 or however it was. Either way, instead of moving onto the next stitch, they just want you to go back into the same one you were just in...hope that helps:manyheart

:cheer I would imagine it would be too many stitches to put into one chain so I would do it all, other than the CH3, into the space, not into the stitch where the CH 3 sits.

If the next part of the instructions say to work into the SP you would do the same on the first.
