I really want to make crocheted dress from "knit simple spring/summer 2007" magazine.

Right now I'm looking for substitution for this acrylic yarn (Simply soft brites by Caron).

the bernat satin is a good substitution for the caron SS... i havent seen the dress but i am not sure what you are wanting to sub with... something not acrylic? or something with different colors? the caron is a light WW or almost a DK weight

ahh, that is such a cute dress. is the mag a knit/crochet or just one or two crochet patterns and mostly knit? and is it still out in stores?
