Bone hooks?

HI everyone. I am pretty new to crocheting. I recently found a pattern that called for a Bone hook size 3. I have been looking for this hook but have yet to find it locally in any stores. Would this be the same size as a D/3 or would it be something else?

My experience is that the bone hooks use the same sizing as the aluminum hooks in the US. So yes, I think you'd use a D/3. I hope the pattern has a gauge indicated. You could do a test swatch and then compare. If your test swatch is too small, move to an E/4. If it's too large, move down in hook size.
