sewing lining in bag

Has anyone ever machine sewed a lining in a bag? I have a crocheted cotton bag I want to put a lining in but I hate hand-sewing.

I have and it was ok just make sure you sew it with the material side down so that the yarn doesn't get pulled into the machine. Good luck!

I sew my linings in by machine (I HATE hand sewing!) I have a Pfaff sewing machine that has an automatic dual feed, but you can use an "even feed" foot attachment like you would use for quilting, or use narrow strips of paper under the crocheted bag (between the feed dogs and the crochet) so your stitches don't get pulled and distorted out of shape.
