Scenting my work/dying cotton thread.

I include a lavendar sachet (hand crocheted of course) with all my wool items. It's a natural moth repellant and smells soooo nice! Everything else I hand wash, rinse in lavendar water and hang to dry.

Another option at a craft fair is to offer both scented and unscented items. To help reduce the possibilty of an allergic reaction from customers passing by, perhaps the scented items could be wrapped in cellophane or in a ziploc bag.

As more and more people are experiencing Scent Allergies, you have to be careful if the items are not for your personal use.

Yes, I have to agree. Please ask the customer before you apply the scent. For me personally, I would not buy it if I knew it was scented. I wouldn't be able to use it.
