Ah geeez i bumped this at the wrong time... when everybody else was getting their beauty rest.

 

So here i am again bugging you. Anybody try this???

 

If so could you post a picture and tell of your experience good or bad???

I used permanet black marker to do the webbing on my spider-man, but that was after it was crocheted. I just want to recommend, if you do work with permanent mark, do it in a well ventillated area.:c9

I have a pattern somewhere where you crochet 12" squares then you use a temeplate and fabric paint and paint on the design or if you have an air brush you could air brush on a design I think the one I have is a square for a flower for a potholder,placemat or an afghan. But there are a lot of templates out there now.

See, what i was thinking of was coloring the thread/yarn BEFORE it gets crocheted into the pattern.... that way your colors are very distinctive and the stitches form more of a part of the image.

I did some looking (at joAnn's) and saw they have lots of fabric coloring markers. Just wonder how fast they dry.
