charlotte nc yarn shops

my mommy is trying to buy me a bday present and has no idea where to go....... does anyone have a "cant miss it" yarn shop in charlotte nc? thanks in advance!

I have been to Charlotte Yarn. It is off of Selwyn Ave. I really liked the shop. The ladies that work there are very nice. It is more centered around knitting, but the yarns are just yummy!

i went to charlotte yarn, and you were right, the yarns were just yummy. i especially enjoyed the 10 clearance bucket!

i also went to baskets of yarn, http://www.basketsofyarn.com/ and the only thing i didnt like was that nothing was marked! but the woman who owns it was very friendly (even when my DD (shes 2) was trying to run off with the yarn..."its nice mommy!!!") and she said shes learning to crochet! awesome service and you can buy anything in the shop online! you should definitely check it out if you are in the area.
