Question
Lexamark
I'm making a stuffed Giraffe toy(http://www.roxycraft.com/The_trio_info.htm) using a worsted weight yarn that is made of 100% wool. Because of the stiffness of the wool, and the light colour, the inc and dec stitches are very noticeable, and I thought I might try felting it.
I've never done a felting project before, and having read about it, it seems fairly simple. I was wondering if there is anything special I need to do considering this toy is basically an unstuffed ball. If I try felting it, are the sides going to stick to one another? I've seen lots of felted purse patterns, so I'm sure there is a way to accomplish this, but can anyone give me any tips?
