Babetta's on the corner of San Juan/Winding Way in Carmichael is absolutely great. They're moving into a bigger shop in July; it will be in the same strip mall just down the row from their current location.

It's a mother/daughter shop; friendly and very helpful, as well as a a lot of variety of wonderful yarns. They also have classes.
