Question
rose_anglaise
Hello!
Back in November I started the lace fingerless gloves in Stitch 'n Bitch: Happy Hooker. The pattern seemed to move pretty fast, so I decided to keep going in the hope of knocking out a quick Christmas gift. ARRGHH! On reaching row 22 I ceased being able to make any sense of the pattern whatsoever! What I had in front of me didn't seem to correspond at all to what was on the page. I checked the errata on the SnB website, but they relate to the 1st printing of the book. Matters are complicated further by the fact that one of the errors in the 1st edition is a missing row, meaning that the row numbers in that edition and the ones in my copy don't correspond.
Having only managed to produce one half of a glove last time around, I would really like to do better this Christmas! Has anyone else tried making these gloves from the 2nd printing of HH? If so, did you run into problems and, if so, how did you solve them? Or am I simply an idiot?
Thanks for any and all help!
