I need help....again!

Ok, so I am still working on Drew's chic on a half shell purse. I finally figured out how it should be, but now I am at a loss on how to do the handles! I'm just not understanding, someone PLEASE HELP!

 

 

 

 

Where do I put the handles?

Make handle by joining two sts to the right of one of the top seams. Crochet 22 rows of 4 sc. Whipstitch handle to opposite side of purse. Work one row of sc around sides of purse handles and around U shaped section of each side

Where you joined it. You use 2 st to the right that for your joining WS of the bag will be facing you or at least it would me but I am a leftie and crochet left to right). And then you will work 2 st on one side of the join these will be in 2 different st (from sewing together) and 2 st from the other side of that to give you 4 st. You work 4 st each row and make 22 rows of 4.

 

Then you go around the whole outside line with sc on one side then do the other.

The handle gets joined at the two topmost parts of the purse, the picture of the purse on the pattern is a really good guide.
