Question
Jjenjen
Hi all , Just a quick question . What would be a good substitute for linen yarn? Would cotton work?I would like to give the pattern "Linen and Lace " a go ,from the latest Interweave Crochet mag , but as I have a heap of cotton thread that is the perfect colour and dying to be used , I was wondering if I could use that instead of the linen thread suggested . I have never used linen yarn before , does it stretch , and is that the reason it is suggested, to help keep the horizontal ribbed rows from stretching with age and wear? Thanks , Jen
