OK, how bad does it have to be to make you FROG?

Recommended Posts

if the error is going to throw off the pattern, as in a wearable, or if it's a very 'motif intensive' pattern, like a doily, i'll frog it back. if it's something i can mask or that won't be too noticeable, i leave it:blush

that being said.... i'm currently working on a jacket that involves waist shaping and armhole shaping and i've frogged two to six rows at least ten times as i match the 'left front panel' with the 'back panel' and find that i didn't do a dc2tog or an dc inc at the right spot - it's not that it's so 'bad' per se, but i'm working so hard on this that i want it to go together well.

If I'm not happy with it I frog no matter how far back I have to go, I do try to check every few rows to make sure I'm happy with it to save me more work but sometimes I've been in "the zone" and have no idea I've done so much, now that is irritating.
