Australians: Bendigo Woolen Mills

Anyone bought anything from here? A friend recommended the place. They only do mail order and they don't have a website.

 

I just got their shade card in the mail - beautiful section and only about $10 or so for a 200g of wool. Pretty good I think!

 

Just wanting to hear some experiences on their customer service and such.

hi diane, i live in bendigo and the mill is within walking distance from my home. (if i felt like walking that is). i haven't bought any of their wools lately, but the cottons are lovely. they have both 4 & 8ply, with a lovely colour range. i always look and ooh over the wool. they have a terrific range of colours and plys.

I've been buying their wool for years - it's very nice wool, and their customer service is great. They took back a parcel of yellow wool I once ordered, because when it arrived, it wasn't quite the right shade.

I hope my new colour chart gets here soon.
