Anyone interested in making a ripple rug as a CAL?

 

I found the pattern here http://crochetnmore.com/crochetaripplerug.htm

 

I still need to figure out the colors and type of yarn I'm going to use, and probably need to buy a hook. I don't know if I have the one required.
