My favorite yarn store in NC!!!

I was in Michael's a few days ago and overheard a woman talking to her husband about some yarn she had just bought from Roses department store. So, naturally, I had to go there and see for myself. I bought a few balls of Lion Boucle and Lion Suede that I liked with no project in mind. When I got back home, I went to the Lion web site to find some patterns for the yarn and found the price per ball was $4.99 for the boucle and $6.49 for the suede. The best part of this story is I only paid a dollar for each ball!!!! I am going back today to buy more. And I even have 2 Roses locations within 10 minutes of my house!!! More variety I hope!

Just wanted to pass this bit of good information along to anyone who has a Roses department store near by. Go in and take a look!

Which Roses were you at? The one in West jefferson never had yarn. But I haven't been in there for a year or two. I wonder if they just got some overstock in that they are selling.

Where do you live in NC? I live in SC and if it's near the state line, I might be able to check it out. I live in Lancaster.

We have a Roses in Henderson, about 12 miles from the house...If I need to make a journey in that direction I might check it out
