European/South American Mags

Being an international forum, maybe someone from one of these 'exotic' (to me) continents can help me.

I've seen some really great magazines from Europe and South America and even though it would probably take me ages trying to translate the patterns, I'd love to give it a try. Problem is, I have no idea how to find the magazines. I used to see one on a Brazilian site (Circulo, makers of my favourite cottons, Anne and Clea) but now I can't even find that site. And we all know how great the Japanese books are!

I dunno, they just seem to have such different patterns ... more intricate, more 'out there', and I'd love to make things like that, especially with thread!

If anyone knows how I could get an overseas (I'm in Canada) subscription to one of these magazines, I'd really appreciate the information! I could probably find the subscription info from a website if you could let me know the publishers and names of any crochet magazines that I normally wouldn't find in North America.

(And certainly, no offense to any North American crochet magazines ... love them too!) :yes

Thanks ever-so much,

Brae
